New! KS1 Literacy Marking Teacher Stamp

'Use capital letters', 'Remember full stops', 'Finger spacing'...how many times have you written these messages to remind pupils of these early literacy skills? For some, it takes a while for these fundamental skills to become second nature which means a lot of repetitive marking.

Designed by teachers and exclusive to School Stamps / Classroom Capers, our new large format, self-inking KS1 literacy stamp takes the repetition out of marking providing a handy check-list of 7 key literacy skills quoted as the most often prompted. these include:

  • Write on the line
  • Full stops
  • Capital letters
  • Finger spaces
  • Sound out words
  • Letter formation
  • Full sentences

To be even more useful, the stamp also has areas for feedback on the work well done (WWW) and how it could be improved (EBI), Plus a prompt to add spellings that need to be practised and lastly, and most important, a statement for the pupil to read and sign stating that they have read the feedback and comments and will try and improve their work - all sealed with their signature. This encourages them to take ownership and responsibility of their learning .

The Xstamper Nenga stamp is self-inking mount which will last for 2-3000 impressions, but cannot be reinked. The mount is exclusive to Classroom Capers & School Stamps and has been used to create a large range of teacher marking stamps. As with all our Nenga stamps they carry a 30 day no quibble guarantee and you have a choice of ink colours so you can ensure you conform with your school's marking policy as well as the option to customise the content. So if you would prefer different wording or just a slight change you simply need to buy the mount as a custom stamp and provide your amendments via email, quoting your order reference number.

If you have any queries on how to buy or customise this stamp contact either Jo or John - we'll be pleased to discuss how this stamp can be amended to suit your requirements.
